The best method to import custom data into Klaviyo is with a CSV import:
- We created this guide for exporting data from Customer Fields. Your customer’s data will be exported as a CSV file, including all the custom data that you collected from these customers.
- Import data into Klaviyo using their help article as a guide.
Pro tip: for custom data, Klaviyo just needs a name for the data column (it shouldn’t be one already used). For example: if you want to get birthdays into Klaviyo to use for your marketing emails, just name the column in your CSV file “birthday”, and Klaviyo will import it as a custom value. Rad!
