Helium Named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
We’re excited to share that Helium has been named to the 2025 Inc 5000 list, recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. This year we came in at No. 2867, with 144% revenue growth over the past three years.
Interestingly, growth in 2025 is slower than last year where our 3-year revenue growth sat above 300%. We chalk this up to the ever-changing landscape economically, as well as in the Shopify App space.
One thing we know for sure? None of this would be possible without the dedication of our team and the trust of 20,000+ Shopify merchants who rely on Helium apps.
Humble beginnings
When Nick Mealey built his first Shopify app in 2014, he had no idea how successful it could become. “Imagine if this app could make $30,000,” his brother-in-law once said. And that wildly arbitrary number became the goal, for a moment. Today, that humble mega menu and navigation app has earned $1 million in lifetime revenue without significant ongoing investment.
Bright outlook
Helium has expanded into a team of 13 and continues to develop new products for Shopify merchants. Earlier this year we introduced Onboard B2B, a tool designed to make B2B customer onboarding simpler for Shopify Plus merchants.
We’ve also partnered with Snapbar, a fellow Inc 5000 honoree, to pioneer the first Self-Service Company Headshots service.
This recognition is both a milestone and a motivator. We’re looking ahead to more innovation, more partnerships, and more ways to help Shopify entrepreneurs succeed.
